Wogan v Moyles
« on: February 07, 2006, 12:29:06 AM »

Every morning Wogan has 7 million listeners and Moyles 6 So who do you like to drive/commute to work listening to and why?

In Peep's Opinion........the stats never lie. Terry rules!

totally agree. For us over 50's there is only one station and Terry is the King of radio 2. Never even listened to Chris Moyles but I don't need to. Terry is too good!

got to be Moyles. The stuff Wogan plays (yes I admit I have listened to him) is the very light end of the modern stuff and the most middle of the road older stuff you will find anywhere (including Saga Radio)

Moyles has depth and is a good laugh. Doesn't read out all the old timers semi funny letters which is a main part of the wogan show (and pretty boring)

Woggie the old foggie is past his due date dudes! I'd like to know where peep gets their stats from; I imagine half of Woggies listeners wear hearing aides so in reality Moyles is kickin? his arse!

Moyles. Best Dj on the radio coz he's a natural. Surprised he's only got 6million. He has turned Radio 1 around and will only get better

Listened to Wogan in last 10mins. 8:45am. It's rubbish. He spends most of his time putting these toff voices on, like some old retired major in the upper classes, reading out banal letters. Then he follows this up with a catchy little number called Lift me Up by Geri Halliwell. Hardly rivoting. If you like your radio to have an edge to it stick with radio 1 and Moyles. And like Crazy I wonder how reliable Peep's figures are?

Moyles miles better. Anyone is better than Terry. Nice man but his street cred is hardly worth shouting about

feeling a need to stick up for Radio 2. Much better listening figures and without Sir Terry the likes of Steve right would never be so popular again.

And when did Moyles do anything on the scale of Children in Need. He is a young start compared with the career and standing of Terence Wogan

I don't listen to either.  I'm a big REAL radio listener.  Good music, not a bucket loads of chat, and local news.  Can't beat it!

Moyles seems to be ahead but not by much. Where are the Wogan fans.
